It’s so simple yet so full of truth and life.
This is a compilation of Bible scriptures simply placed in alphabetical order.
Suggested teaching methods by personal experience according to ages:
Birth – 12 months:
It’s never too early to start children on a Bible based education. Simply show the “I AM” Alphabet book to your child as you read and confess the Word of God over them and you will begin building a firm foundation of Biblical truth in your child. Children learn even though they may not be able to immediately communicate back to you what was taught.
Plant the seed, care for it daily and you will reap a harvest in due season according to your faith and your faithfulness to teach.
12 months – 4 years:
Show the “I AM” Alphabet book to your child as you read the Word of God. Have them name the alphabet letter and identify it by pointing to the blue letters. Next have them repeat after you as you read the scripture once again. It may not come out of their mouths completely understandable to your ears but God knows and understands what they are saying. His word always accomplishes what is sent out to do. So what better words to have coming out of your toddler and child’s mouth than a confession of God’s Word over themselves?
5 years - teenage:
Teaching the “I AM” alphabet to children at this age is all about learning and understanding what God says about them and how and when to use it. The “I AM” Alphabet book will help the child associate the Word of God with a corresponding letter, which in turn will increase the memorization of the scriptures, as well as allow them to retain it for recall. It’s easy because it’s alphabetical.
Parent/Teacher/Caregiver:
The “I Am” Alphabet will open venues for you the parent, grandparent, teacher or caregiver to talk about situations in which the child can draw from the alphabet to battle the negative words and situations that life will throw at them. You will also find delight in teaching this simple alphabet drawn from the Word of God.
